Have a Great Independence Day

Greetings:

Here in the U.S., we celebrate our nation's founding on the 4th of July. If you're taking part in that celebration, I hope you have a wonderful day.

Take a moment today, though, and thank God for the freedom you enjoy. Remember those who shed their blood and laid down their lives for our country.

Thank God for the spiritual freedom you enjoy, too. Like our national liberty, spiritual liberty was costly:

1Pe 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; (19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
